About Me

Todd H. Kennedy

State of Tennessee TDEC Certified Lead-Based Paint Inspector & Risk Assessor

Experience Counts

Having earned my TDEC credentials in 2007 and personally inspecting and overseeing the successful lead hazard control of hundreds of properties across the state, you can rest assured that my services are accurate and thorough, always meeting federal/state guidelines and industry standards.

Know What You Are Getting

The world of lead-based paint can be a confusing one. Whether you are a concerned homeowner/tenant, a homebuyer, a landlord, or managing grants that require regulatory compliance, the rules and methods used for inspections and risk assessments can be vastly different. 100% of the work I perform is done in accordance with State of TN, HUD, and EPA regulations.

Services

Targeted Inspections

Inspection / Risk Assessment

Inspection / Risk Assessment

A targeted lead-based paint inspection will focus on certain rooms and/or components, based on your proposed scope of work or areas of concern. A simplified report will be provided, stating all testing results, a basic floor plan, and photos.

A full inspection/risk assessment includes documentation and testing of all rooms and testing combinations. A comprehensive report will be provided, stating all testing results (XRF, dust, and soil), recommended lead hazard control measures, a basic floor plan, and photos.

Clearance Exams

Clearance Exams

A clearance exam is performed upon completion of lead hazard control work (interim controls or abatement) or maintenance activities. A visual inspection and lab-tested dust wipes of the work area will verify that proper measures and clean-up were done per industry standards.
